Owner, publisher and editor-in-chief
of “SOCIETY”, the Austrian magazine
widely known to readers in the diplomatic,
political and economic spheres,
Mrs. Gertrud Tauchhammer, talked about the
positive impression she gained from all her trips to
Azerbaijan. She also emphasised the highly successful
cooperation with the Embassy of Azerbaijan to
Austria and SOCAR’s Representative Office in Austria.
Mrs. Tauchhammer informed the guests about
the recent successful project implemented by the
magazine in cooperation and support of SOCAR’s
representation. Thus, the first official visit of the
President Ilham Aliyev to Austria in May, 2013, and
the exhibition “Fly to Baku” organised and held in
Vienna by the initiative of Vice-President of Heydar
Aliyev Foundation Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, as well as the
opening of Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Vienna
