work?

With Invisalign®, you get the
smile that you’ve always
wanted! An individual
number of aligners (i.e.
splints made from ultra-light
plastic material) are then
tailored based on the data
obtained. The aligners are
manufactured separately
for the upper and lower
jaw and sit precisely on
the teeth. Each individual
splint is usually worn
for 7 to 14 days and then
independently exchanged
for every new one, which is
slightly different from the
previous one. This way, the
teeth are gently but steadily
moved into the desired new

Who is the Invisalign®
treatment suitable for?
Orthodontics is suitable for
people of all ages as long as
teeth and gums are healthy.
Invisalign® is particularly
suitable for everyone who
is reluctant to wear fixed
braces, be it because they
feel “too old” for them or
because it is not compatible
with their professional
life. Our practice has been
certified by Invisalign® for
years and we have treated
many patients with
excellent results. However,
there are misaligned teeth
that are better treated with
conventional, fixed braces.

How long will the treatment
take? The duration
of treatment varies and
depends on the deviation
of the tooth or jaw position
and can last between 3 and
24 months.
How long do you have to
wear the aligners every
day? It is recommended to
wear the splint 22 hours a
day so that the tooth movement
can be optimally
transferred from the splint
to the bone.
Are the aligners really
invisible? The aligners are
made of a transparent
plastic and are barely
visible. Other people often
do not notice them even at
close range – unless you
talk to a dentist.
Can you eat and drink
normally with the aligners?
The aligners should
definitely be removed when
brushing your teeth and
eating. Then rinse all with
water, that‘s it. Brushing
your teeth is the same
as before and there is no
increased risk of tooth
decay on smooth surfaces
of the teeth. You should
only drink water with them.
For all other drinks, it is recommended
to remove the
rails, which is easy as pie.
Another advantage: You
can simply take the splints
out before a date - so you
can kiss undisturbed!
