Longleat Festival of Light<br />
Each year the grounds of Longleat House are transformed into a magical<br />
array of lights. During the day you will visit the House and Safari park, with<br />
its magnificent and varied collection of animals, and as night falls, watch the<br />
Gardens and House become a magical place with walkways, trees and<br />
displays. Each year a different theme brings the whole area to life.<br />
Day 1 We depart our local area and head<br />
to the Wilton shopping centre with over<br />
65 Stores under one roof. Afterwards we<br />
continue our journey to our hotel with time<br />
to relax before dinner.<br />
Day 2 Today we make a leisurely departure<br />
to Longleat where your visit commences<br />
with a ride through the safari park from the<br />
comfort of your coach. You then see Longleat<br />
House dressed for Christmas, as well as a vast<br />
display of Chinese lanterns spread over 30<br />
acres and featuring a variety of traditional<br />
Chinese designs including dragons and<br />
pagodas. The overall effect will be beautiful by<br />
day and incredible after dark! We depart from<br />
here early evening.<br />
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we leave<br />
our hotel and head home via Basingstoke for<br />
a chance to do some Christmas shopping.<br />
After we continue our journey back to our local<br />
drop offs.<br />
