moves and establishes residency. The records
and Communication Division shall be notified
of each residency or frequenting change.
RULE 58 TRAFFIC - REGULATION OF. A district
commander shall cooperate wi th the Traffic
Division in giving attention to the enforcement
of traffic regulations in his district.
RULE 59 ACCI DEI4TS. A di strict commander
shall be held ref'ponsible for the proper investigation
of all accidents in his district.
When notified of a serious accident in his
district,he shall cause the Central Complaint
Unit to be noti fled immedi ately.
RULE 60 LICENSES - TO INVESTIGATE. A district
commander shall be furnished with a list
of ci ty I icenses of which the pol ice department
takes cognizance. He wi 11 have all persons
in his district requiring such licenses
to procure them. He wi 11 have a careful investigation
made of all applicants and applications
for such I icenses and shall report
full particulars concerning the applicant, the
type of business, and place of business as
well as all other essential facts to the Commissioner
of POlice. All such reports must be
submitted to the Commissioner of Police in
proper form, and signed by the district commander
in which such appl ication is investigated.
RULE 61 ASSEMBLAGES. A district commander
shall keep himself fully and accurately informed
on meetings and gatherings likely to
attract I arge numbers of persons at particular
places in his district, and he shall take
such step s as may be necessary to insure
proper pol ice service at such assembl ages.
