operators of such equipment on daily operator's
reports prepared for the purpose.
RULE 208 REPORTS - MONllILY. The commanding
officer of the section shall prepare and submit
through channels a monthly report of all
maintenance and service costs of department
vehicles and vehicular equipment to the Commissioner
0 f Pol ice.
RULE 209 INVENTORY - REPORT. The commanding
officer of the section shall inventory, at
least once each year, all vehicles and vehicu­
I ar equipment oYllled or used by the department,
and submi t a report, through ch annel s, to the
Commissioner of Police, setting forth in as
much detail as necessary his recommendations
for the provision of new equipment, replacement
or recondi tioning of old, the type and
make of equipment and any information calculated
to produce maximum effectiveness and efficiency
in this branch of the service.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE SECTtON
RULE 210 DUTI ES - GENERAL. The Building
Maintenance Section shall be commanded by a
member or employee who shall be responsible
for the immediate supervi sion of such members
and employees as are assigned to the section,
under the direction of the commanding 0 fficer
of the Services and Supplies Division. He
shall be responsible for superintending such
repairs and remodel ing of department buildings
and their maintenance as shall be n ·ecessary
for the health and safety of the occupants.
RULE 211 REPORTS. The member or employee in
charge shall submi t a report on or before the
first of each year, or more frequently when
