RULE 215 REQUISITION. All commanding officers
shall make out a monthly Ylritten requisition
based on thei r anticipated needs. This
requisi tion is to be submi tted to the Storekeeper
five days before the calendar month for
which the requisitioned needs are to be drawn.
Commanding officers must endeavor to enumerate
all supply needs .
No supplies shall be issued by the Storekeeper
except through establ ished departme nt
procedure. However, in emergencies, the
Storek eeper may issue an i tern on the basis
that the official requisition will be submi
tted to him in the next police mail.
RULE 216 RECORDS. The Storekeeper s hall
maintain records in the manner set forth in
the Manual of Procedure as adopted for use in
all of the city's departments. He shall supervise
the a.ctivities of the employees and
members assigned to keeping 0 f the records and
see th a t all required i terns are properly entered
on the reco rds. He shall prepare and
forward such r eports as may be directed by the
Commissioner of Police.
BUDGET CONTROL UNIT
RULE 217 DUTI ES. The department's Budget
Control Unit shall be commanded by a member or A
employee 0 f the department who shall be under .,
the immediate supervi sion of the Storekeeper.
He shall maintain liaison between the Storekeeper
and the Ci ty Purch asing Ag e n t. He
shall prepare and forward through channels all
