No. 18. The Kyrenia-Lapithos-Morphou Road,—Commences at the Kyrenia<br />
Konak and passes through the villages of Lapithos, Diorios and Kapouti,<br />
terminates at the Serakhis River at Morphou, It is third class in width and<br />
gradients but is not metalled beyond Lapithos. Its length is 32*25 miles.<br />
No, 19. Tlie Morphou-Karavostassi Road.—Commences at the first house in<br />
Morphou and terminates at the root of Jetty at Karavostassi, measuring 11^ miles.<br />
Maintained as a third class road.<br />
No, 20, The Astromeriti-Karvouna-Troodos Road,—Branches off the Nicosia-<br />
Morphou Road at the village of Astromeriti passing near or through the villages<br />
of Kato-Koutrapha, Evrychou, Galata and Kakopetria, ascends the valley of the<br />
Karidhis River to Karvouna and then skirts along the south-eastern slopes of the<br />
mountain terminating at the Post Office at the Troodos Camp, measuring 35-0<br />
miles. The formation is that of a third class road.<br />
No. 21, The Kyrenia-North Coast Road,—Commences at the Kyrenia Konak<br />
and proceeds eastwards towards Akanthou, present length measuring 3-75 miles.<br />
It is formed as a third class road.<br />
No. 22. The Kato-Koutrapha-Lefka-Karavostassi Road.—Branches off the<br />
Astromeriti-Evrychou Road at the south west side of the Eloea River and passing<br />
through the villages of Angolemi, Petra and Lefka, terminates at its junction with<br />
the Morphou-Karavostassi Road, Its length is 11 -50 miles. It is a third class<br />
road but only gravelled in places.<br />
