FITTSBTJRG, KAN.—McMullin Brothers have plans by Karl<br />
Boiler, 7 Gayety Theater building, Kansas City, Mo., to rebuild<br />
theater, to cost $4,500.<br />
ODENTON, MD.—Camp Meade Mercantile & Amusement Company,<br />
care E. P. Powers, 4094 Pimlico boulevard, Baltimore,<br />
have plans by Otto G. Simonsen, Maryland Casualty building,<br />
Baltimore, for a one and two-story theater and store building,<br />
90x150 feet, to cost $20,000.<br />
AYER. MASS.—Theater has been opened at Camp Devens<br />
under the management of Maj. Reginal Barlow.<br />
HOLLAND, MICH.—Knickerbocker theater, recently leased<br />
by Frank A. Ogden, will be reopened soon.<br />
GRAND RAPIDS. MICH.—Beechers, Inc., 814 Division street,<br />
have awarded the contract for the erection of a two-story moving<br />
picture theater, 49 by 145 feet, to cost $12,000.<br />

Kuenzli, Camp building, Milwaukee, to convert two-story store<br />

seating capacity for 700 people, to cost $50,000.<br />
ST. LOUIS, MO.—Robert Miksicek has reopened the McKinley<br />
theater at the corner of Jefferson and Accomac streets.<br />
ST. LOUIS. MO.—F. L. Cornwell, Da Salle building, is having<br />
plans prepared for a nine-story theater and apartment building,<br />
1,5x326 feet, to cost $S00,000.<br />
ST. LOUIS, MO.—F. L. Cornwell and others are reported<br />
having let contract to Francis Construction & Realty Co., 400<br />
Bebaliviere avenue, to erect an opera house and aparatment<br />
building on Olive street, between Grand and Spring streets,<br />
to cost $800,000.<br />
BAKER, MONT.—<strong>Moving</strong> picture theater will be erected<br />

BILLINGS, MONT.—American theater on Twenty-seventh<br />
street has opened under the management of Dave Wolfson.<br />

of the Miles theater, formerly conducted by F. G. Ober.<br />
MISSOULA, MONT.—Company has been Incorporated, with<br />
Capita] of $125,000, by A. M. Holter, Of Helena, and P. A.<br />
Schlick and Firman Gage, of this city, will erect moving picture<br />
theater having seating capacity for 1,200 people.<br />
1'oLSON, MONT.—Extensive improvements are being made<br />
to the Orpheum theater. It will be reopened under the management<br />

OMAHA, NEB.—James Haire has disposed of the Rex theater.<br />
OMAHA, NEB.—A. H. Blank plans to erect moving picture<br />
theater, with seating capacity for 2,500 people, and to cost<br />
$400,000.<br />
OMAHA, NEB.—Hamilton theater, located at the corner of<br />
Forty-first and Hamilton streets, is now being conducted under<br />
the management of W. O. Jensen.<br />

BINGHAMTON, N. Y.—Lyric theater at W-'lte '" street is being<br />
remodeled for A. W. Newman and Lee M. Caffrety.<br />
BOONVILLE. N. Y.—C. E. Taylor has leased the Beck block<br />
at Main street and is having it converted into a moving pi< •ture<br />
theater. Mr. Taylor will also in the near future open the<br />
Strand.<br />
BROOKLYN, N. Y.—Henry Phiefer, 35 Orient avenue, has<br />
plans by T. J. Bird, 30 East Forty-second street. New York.<br />
for a three-story moving picture theater, dance hall and<br />
garage, 50x95 feet, to cost $5,000.<br />
CAMDEN, N. Y.—Arcade theater has been purchased by Peter<br />
Lengline.<br />
CORINTH, N. Y.—Corinth opera house, care A. T. Mallory,<br />
are having plans prepared for a one-story opera house and<br />
store building, 50 by 90 feet, to cost $15,000.<br />
FREEPORT, N. Y.—Theater is being erected for Frank Tinney<br />
at West Merrick road.<br />
GLENS FALLS, N. Y.—Fred E. Colburn and James R. Lo< kwood,<br />
of Burlington. Yt., will expend about $25,00(1 in eonverting<br />
the Knickerbocker block into a moving picture theater,<br />
with seating capacity for 1,400 people.<br />
JAMAICA, L. I.. N. Y.—William C. Baker. 76 Hardenbrook<br />
avenue, has plans by De Rosa & Perier, 150 Nassau street,<br />
New York, for alterations and a one-story addition, 26x32 feet,<br />
to a moving picture theater, to cost $3,000.<br />
NEW ROCHELLE, N. Y.—Edward F. Rush has purchased<br />
the southwest corner of Huguenot and Division streets as a<br />
site upon which to erect a theater building, 100 by 150 feet,<br />
and to cost approximately $100,000.<br />
NEW YORK, N. Y.—Ward'win Company, owners of the Webster<br />
theater on 167th street, have purchased ground adjoining<br />
theater, and will erect an addition.<br />
PORT LEYDEN, N. Y.—Beck block on Main street is being<br />
converted into a moving picture theater. E. Tailor will be<br />
manager.<br />
SENECA FALLS. N. Y—New Regent theater, constructed<br />
from the old Johnson opera house building at Fall and<br />
Munderse streets, has been opened. A. C. Hilkert is the owner.<br />
SYRACUSE, N. Y —San Le Maire succeeds Herbert E. Luneg<br />
as manager of the Wieting theater.<br />
SYRACUSE, N. Y.—Work has been started on the construction<br />
of the new Keith theater and office building in South<br />
Salina street.<br />

DICKINSON, N. D.—The Dickinson Amusement Company,<br />
which formerly operated the Lyric theater on Villard street.<br />
Is now conducting the Dickinson opera house as a moving<br />
picture theater.<br />
DRAKE, N. D.—T. E. Sleight and A. A. Page has purchased<br />
interest of Henry Thurson in moving picture theater.<br />
DUNN CENTER, N. D.—Ebeltoft Brothers have the contract<br />
to erect a one-story auditorium, 34 by 90 feet, for the city, to<br />
cost $4,800.<br />

interest in the Strand theater to Walter Dean.<br />
FARGO, N. D.—A. S. Hogan has the contract to erect an<br />
opera house for Abel Erickson, to cost $100,000. There will be<br />
seating capacity for 1,500 people.<br />
MILLSBORO, N. D.—A. L. Halverson has plans by Ashelman<br />
& Gage, of Fargo, N. D., for a modern fireproof moving<br />
picture theater.<br />
MILNOR, N. D.—Dick AVillie has disposed of his interest in<br />
the Isis theater.<br />
MIXOT, N. D.— J. M. Wilson, proprietor of the Orpheum<br />
theater has made extensive improvements to the house.
