<strong>RLB</strong> is part of the RICS BIM working group<br />
<strong>RLB</strong> can now offer direct take off from BIM models, for<br />
production of Bills of Quantities or cost plans.<br />
We have also developed a capability to work within the<br />
model, as an intelligent editor, adding data to enable<br />
the model to be used for production of quantities,<br />
calculating embedded carbon and life cycle costs.<br />
The built in Uniformat Code has been rewritten as a<br />
<strong>UK</strong> equivalent based on a NRM/NBS format so that<br />
Revit items can be coded. The program then attaches<br />
the additional attributes and capital costs. This system<br />
could also be used to translate into other languages.<br />
