1/7/1974. Son <strong>of</strong> Edward Coxwell, b. 1867 (Cape Town) who was a member <strong>of</strong><br />

Salisbury Town Council from 1893 for 15 years <strong>an</strong>d was Mayor <strong>of</strong> Salisbury, 1905 - 06 &<br />

1913 - 14. Descended from John Coxwell <strong>of</strong> Cirencester, born 1516. Descent given<br />

in a pedigree outlined by Dr. Conrad Sw<strong>an</strong>, York Herald (1975)<br />

Argent, a bend wavy sable between six cocks gules. (Allowed at the Visitation <strong>of</strong><br />

Walter Spencer Craster (b. 3/4/1874, d. 24/8/1931) <strong>an</strong>d his son Thomas Yvo Craster<br />

(b. 27/8/1909) both <strong>of</strong> Salisbury (Harare). Walter was the younger brother <strong>of</strong> Thomas<br />

William Craster <strong>of</strong> Craster Tower, Northumberl<strong>an</strong>d.<br />
