Born 4/2/1867, married 17/9/1898, Louisa Marion, (died 29/6/1939) eldest daughter <strong>of</strong> Robert Fowler DL <strong>of</strong> Rahinston, co. Meath. Eldest son <strong>of</strong> Lt.Col. William Alex<strong>an</strong>der Godley <strong>an</strong>d cousin <strong>of</strong> John Arthur Godley, 1st Baron Kilbracken. Sir Arthur's younger brother, Lt. Col. Richard Shearm<strong>an</strong> Godley, OBE also served in the same campaigns <strong>an</strong>d was Deputy Commr. <strong>of</strong> the S. A. Police. Argent, three unicorns' heads erased sable, horned gules, two <strong>an</strong>d one <strong>an</strong>d three trefoils slipped vert, one <strong>an</strong>d two. Born 16/5/1872, married 29/7/1918, Mary Elizabeth only daughter <strong>of</strong> the late Samuel John Benwell <strong>of</strong> Coolacorara, King's Co., <strong>an</strong>d died 15/5/1939. 5th son <strong>of</strong> Sir Alex<strong>an</strong>der Hamilton Gordon, KCB who was the 2nd son <strong>of</strong> George Gordon, 4th Earl <strong>of</strong> Aberdeen.
