Born in Oxford in 1867 <strong>an</strong>d died in Salisbury (Harare) on 9/4/1943. Son <strong>of</strong> the Rev. R.E. Pell Edmonds <strong>of</strong> Woodleigh, Bedford. The family forebears came from Plymouth <strong>an</strong>d once owned Yetson Estate near Ashrington in Devon. Believed to be descended from Thomas Edmondes <strong>of</strong> Plymouth who was gr<strong>an</strong>ted arms on 22/7/1599 by Camden, Clarenceux King <strong>of</strong> Arms.
