7.23 TEMPORARY RAMPS<br />

Authority/Station staff on a job-specific basis. Further<br />

7.23.1 Temporary ramps (e.g. to enable aircraft<br />

operations to continue during daylight hours with<br />

construction work being carried out at night) shall<br />

be constructed in the same manner as specified in<br />

SEE FIGURE 7.2<br />

Clause 7.22. However, where the Contractor can<br />

demonstrate to the satisfaction <strong>of</strong> the Project<br />

Manager that he can provide an acceptable <strong>and</strong><br />

sound surfacing without the use <strong>of</strong> the saw cut,<br />

the saw cutting may be omitted.<br />

7.23.2 Prior to the commencement <strong>of</strong> each *<br />

work, the Contractor shall obtain the approval <strong>of</strong><br />

the Project Manager to the proposed layout <strong>of</strong> the<br />

temporary ramps. At no time shall there be more<br />

than one ramp in the length <strong>of</strong> each <strong>Hot</strong> <strong>Rolled</strong><br />
