As <strong>of</strong> 03/18/2005, the Pelican Bay DRI contained 1,035 hotel units, 35 nursing home beds, and 6,725 residential units. Office space totaled 435,998 square feet. A total <strong>of</strong> 414,100<br />
square feet <strong>of</strong> retail space had been built. The Philharmonic Hall contained 1,221 seats and 460 parking spaces.<br />
On September 21, 2004, the Collier County Board <strong>of</strong> County Commissioners approved Resolution #2004-286, which reallocated portions <strong>of</strong> the previously approved but unbuilt<br />
ammount s <strong>of</strong> commercial (<strong>of</strong>fice and retail) uses from the North Commercial Area to the South Commercial Area. It also reduced the housing units. See ID #24.<br />
