As <strong>of</strong> November 2000, the existing terminal building was expanded to 17 gates. The airport property contains 13,517.66 acres, including mitigation area. The airport currently<br />
contains a 349,601 square foot terminal, a runway, and 2,082 parking spaces. The Daniel's Parkway Extension through airport property was completed November 2000.<br />
Recent Modifications The original project is ID # 23 and Substantial Deviation I is ID #112. The Lee County Port Authority is in the process <strong>of</strong> completing the Airport Master Plan Update. The Lee County<br />
Comp Plan is amended to include the Airport Master Plan Update. The Lee Plan amendment is consistent with the requirements <strong>of</strong> CS/HB 261 and the DRI for the airport is<br />
exempted from the DRI process.<br />
