Approved for an 8,400-ft. commercial jet runway and taxiway, a 3,700-ft. general aviation runway and connecting taxiways, a 28-gate terminal, an air cargo facility, ramps, related<br />

roadway system, drainage, and a rental car service area.<br />

Recent Modifications The original project is ID #23 and substantial deviation II is ID #119. The Lee County Port Authority is in the process <strong>of</strong> completing the Airport Master Plan Update. An application to<br />

amend the Lee County Comp Plan to include the Airport Master Plan Update will be submitted ASAP. The Lee Plan amendment, when approved, will be consistent with the<br />

requirements <strong>of</strong> CS/HB 261, and the DRI for the airport will formally be abandoned.<br />
