In December <strong>of</strong> 1998, the Fairways Woodlands was abandoned. Thereafter, the County purchased land and donated land to the State <strong>of</strong> Florida as part <strong>of</strong> the Charlotte Harbor<br />
Flatwoods Conservation and Recreational Lands (CARL) project. The June 1997 monitoring reported stated that no dwelling units had been constructed but part <strong>of</strong> the surface water<br />
management system had been constructed.<br />
Recent Modifications This DRI project is now a part <strong>of</strong> the CARL project.<br />
