4.3 Potable Water Demand.<br />

The project will require about 40,070 gallons <strong>of</strong> water a day as described in table 4.1.<br />

This represents 100% <strong>of</strong> the initial water demand for the project.<br />

Since the northern most portion <strong>of</strong> the project will serve to semi permanent to permanent<br />

residents, the project water consumption and demand were divided into 2 development<br />

zones or tiers as described in table 4.3 below:<br />

As can be seen from the table above, tier 2 has the highest water demand per zone. These<br />

tiers were developed to better manage the water demand for the project and reduce water<br />

loss via excessive piping and eliminating dead ends throughout the project distribution<br />

mains.<br />
