6 CVTs, 14 sets of isolators and 12 LA. Unloading,
erection, testing and commissioning of owners
supply materials like two 80 MVA shunt reactor was
also included in the scope along with all associated
civil works.
The complete scope of 32 Bays ( 21 Nos 400 kV Bays,
10 Nos 220 kV Bays & 1 No 66 kV Bay) at Ranchi
substation was completed in record time by
mobilizing the resources as required for crashing the
project completion schedule. Also, the close
coordination with the engineering team and vendors
ensured the sequential release of drawings / delivery
of materials which ultimately squeezed the
completion schedule since the work was taken up in
almost all fronts simultaneously.
Safety and quality was given topmost priority
and the project was completed with zero
accident. A labour colony was also constructed
with all basic amenities, good hygiene and
medical care in order to retain and motivate
the work force.
