A Nordic Community Builder: A new mining project in the north Kaunisvaara-gruvan, Pajala, October 2012: The picture shows Sweden’s newest mining project in Kaunisvaara where Northland Resources began test deliveries of iron ore in October 2012. Peab has paved the way for the coming operations, built a concentrator, offices and housing. Peab will even be responsible for transportion from the mine in Kaunisvarra to the shipping port in Narvik. This is a Nordic project that enlists Peab’s entire expertise and know-how in all our business areas. This is one example of Peab’s role as a Nordic Community Builder.
