10 Processing Modflow
The next step is to specify the type of layers.
< To assign the type of layers
1. Choose Layer Type from the Grid menu.
A Layer Options dialog box appears.
2.1 Run a Steady-State Flow Simulation

2. Click a cell of the Type column, a drop-down button will appear within the cell. By
clicking the drop-down button, a list containing the avaliable layer types (Fig. 2.5) will be
displayed.
3. Select 1: Unconfined for the first layer and 0: Confined for the other layers then click OK
to close the dialog box.
