Thirty-six journals provided one article each, and 18 journals each provided two or more articles. Figure 4 and Table 8 show the number of articles provided by different journals. SOI has proved relatively slow in finding exposure in the mainstream journals, including the innovation journals. Two journals, Business Strategy and the Environment and Journal of Cleaner Production, accounted for 26 per cent of the included studies.
