KAPPA V ECHOS /DS: unit with desuperheater
In addition to the components of version KAPPA V ECHOS this unit includes a heat recovery brazed plate type
condenser for condensation partial heat recovery (20%) arranged in series for each circuit with the condenser
coil. For the maximum efficiency of the device it is advisable to couple with fan speed control. Also available on
all HP models. In this case an isolating valve must be fitted on the water recovery circuit and be closed during heat
pump mode operation as described in the manual.
KAPPA V ECHOS /LN: low noise unit
In addition to the components of version KAPPA V ECHOS this unit includes:
An internally lined sound absorbing compressor compartment, with absorption material having an intermediate
layer of high acoustic impedance material, and fan speed control. The fan speed is automatically increased in
accordance with the ambient conditions.
KAPPA V ECHOS /SLN: extra low noise unit
In addition to the components of version KAPPA V ECHOS/LN this unit includes:
An increased coil surface area, slower fan speed 8 pole motors and fan speed control.
REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT ACCESSORIES
- Electronic expansion valve
- Condensing pressure control by fan speed regulator for low ambient temperature operation
- Dual set-point (high/low temperature) with unique electronic thermostatic valve. The evaporator of the unit is
sized according to the higher operating temperature. The two set-points can be programmed and switched
between them from the keypad or using a digital input; the type of selection must be specified at the time of the
order.
- High and low pressure gauges are available ,as an option, for all models. As standard on all units low pressure
values and relative, condensation and evaporation temperatures are measured by pressure transducers that
relay signals that are displayed on the controller.
- Liquid receiver (standard for version /HP, /DC);
- Compressor suction valves;
- Liquid line solenoid valve. The units have as standard a device which,at the compressor stop, closes the liquid
line and consequently the expansion valve;
- low water temperature kit.
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT ACCESSORIES
- Anti-freeze evaporator heater, also on recovery heat exchangers if available. ST version also has an anti-freeze
heater on the hydraulic circuit and storage tank
- Water side relief valve (version ST only).
ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES
- Serial interface RS485 type with Carel, Modbus, Echelon and Bacnet protocols. Compatibility with Trend and
Johnson supervisions.
- Power factor correction cos f ≥ 0.9 at nominal operating conditions; on external IP 55 electric panel on
external IP 55 electric panel (connections to power supply are the responsibility of the installer; accessory
connected to potential free contacts)
- Remote user terminal panel (in addition to the standard terminal)
- Set point variable with remote signal (0-1V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA)
- Single voltage-free contacts for machine status signals
- 3 levels of alarm priority
- SMS availability for assistance management
- Limitation of absorbed current
