TUITION AND FEES<br />

Tuition and fees for the complete full-time Esthetics course is $7,100. A registration fee of<br />

$150.00 will be paid when the Enrollment Agreement is signed, with the balance of tuition being<br />

paid in one of the following manners:<br />

1. Cash payment in full at the commencement of classes; or<br />

2. Tuition paid through the <strong>University</strong>’s financial program requires a registration fee of<br />

$150.00 due on the first day of instruction. The balance of $7,100 to be paid on the<br />

following schedule: $710 to be paid on the first Wednesday of each month for the next<br />

ten months.<br />

Tuition paid through Title IV (Federal grants and Student Loan Programs) and/or Title V (VRvocational<br />

Rehabilitation, JPTA-Job Training Partnership Act, VA-Veterans Administration)<br />

will be credited to the student’s unpaid tuition account upon the receipt of the funding agency<br />

check. Any expense not covered by the above mentioned programs will be the responsibility of<br />

the student and dealt with on a case-by basis.<br />

The tuition fee will cover 1,200 clock hours of instruction, which is to be completed by the<br />

student within ten calendar months from the date classes begin.<br />

The tuition fee includes the cost for student kits, textbooks, and two <strong>Merrell</strong> <strong>University</strong> lab coats.<br />

The student kits are the property of the student, but must remain at the <strong>University</strong> until the<br />

student has graduated. Additional costs are limited to writing instruments and note pads.<br />

The $150 registration fee is refundable if requested by the student in writing at least three days<br />

prior to the commencement of classes.<br />

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY<br />

Any applicant not accepted by <strong>Merrell</strong> <strong>University</strong> will be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.<br />

If a student (or in the case of a student under legal age, his/ parent or guardian) cancels his/her<br />

enrollment and demands his money back, in writing, within 3 business days of the signing of the<br />

Enrollment Agreement/, all monies collected by the school will be refunded. The postmark on<br />

the written notification will determine the cancellation date, or the date notification was<br />

delivered to the <strong>University</strong> Administrator/Owner.<br />

Prior to entering classes, if a student cancels his/her enrollment agreement after 3 business days<br />

following the signing the Enrollment Agreement/Contract, he/she will be entitled to a refund of<br />

all monies paid to the <strong>University</strong>, less the $150.00 registration fee.<br />

For any student attending the school for the first time, and using any Title IV program and whose<br />

withdrawal date is on or before the 50% point in time of the enrollment period, the institution<br />

will apply the statutory pro-rata refund. Pro-rata refund means a refund by the school of not less<br />

than that position of the tuition equal to the portion of the period of enrollment for which the<br />

student has been charged that remains on the withdrawal date, rounded downward to the nearest<br />
