Software <strong>and</strong> version being used<br />

Brain <strong>and</strong> controller firmware version (as applicable)<br />

PC configuration (type of processor, speed, memory, <strong>and</strong> operating system)<br />

A complete description of your hardware <strong>and</strong> operating systems, including:<br />

– jumper configuration<br />

– loader <strong>and</strong> kernel versions for the brain, <strong>and</strong> date codes of I/O <strong>units</strong> (available through<br />

ioManager; see the Troubleshooting chapter in form #1460, the SNAP Ethernet-Based<br />

I/O Units User’s Guide).<br />

– IP addresses <strong>and</strong> net masks for devices on the system<br />

– accessories installed (such as expansion cards)<br />

– type of power supply<br />

– third-party devices installed (for example, barcode readers)<br />
