EIA Scoping Report
• West of Scotland Archaeological Society (WoSAS).
A number of statutory EIA consultees will be formally consulted by WDC as part of the
EIA Scoping request process and asked to provide written comment on this Scoping
Report document. These consultees will include:
• BAA Glasgow Airport;
• Crown Estates;
• Health and Safety Executive;
• Historic Scotland;
• Marine Scotland;
• Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA);
• Scottish Government;
• SNH;
• Scottish Water;
• Transport Scotland; and
• WDC.
Glasgow City Council and Renfrewshire Council will also be approached by WDC for
comment on the scoping exercise.
4.3.4 Additional EIA consultation
As part of the EIA process, a formal consultation letter was issued to a number of
additional consultees on the 9 th November 2011. The purpose of this consultation
exercise was to provide an opportunity for non-statutory consultees, with a potential
environmental or operational interest in the proposals, to: comment on the proposed
Masterplan; highlight potential environmental issues/ concerns; and provide the project
team with environmental data for the site and its environs. The following consultees were
contacted as part of this exercise:
• Association of Salmon Fisheries Boards;
• British Waterways;
• Civil Aviation Authority;
• Clyde River Foundation;
• Clydebank Local History Society;
