Dawn Developments Ltd/467374673/Queen’s Quay Masterplan EIA/KD 04/01/2012 Major Mixed Use Development, Queen's Quay, Clydebank EIA Scoping Report The statutory consultees are invited to comment on the environmental baseline, the planned content of the EIA and the proposed assessment methods and to provide additional relevant environmental information where available. All comments and information received from the statutory consultees will be used to inform the EIA process, the content of the final ES, and the scope, extent and methods used to carry out the various environmental assessments required. A statutory consultation period of 28 days is allowed for the return of the scoping opinion to the Applicant(s). 1.3 Report structure The structure of the remainder of the Scoping Report is as follows: 2. DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION: Provides a general overview of the site location, context and history; gives a description of the history of the Masterplan area; and provides details of the Masterplan proposals. 3. PLANNING AND POLICY FRAMEWORK: Describes the recent planning history of the Development site; identifies in-combination development that will be considered as part of the EIA; and details the planning policy relevant to the Development that will be examined within the EIA policy review. 4. EIA SCOPING STUDY METHODOLOGY: Sets out the methods used to undertake the EIA Scoping Study. 5. ENVIRONMENTALLY DESIGNATED SITES AND FEATURES: Identifies the environmentally designated sites and protected features within 5km of the site boundary. 6 – 14. ENVIRONMENTAL BASELINE AND PROPOSED EIA SCOPE: For each environmental discipline the relevant chapter provides a description of the existing environmental baseline; <strong>documents</strong> the consultation undertaken to date; identifies key environmental issues to be considered during the EIA process; and outlines the proposed scope and methods of environmental studies to be undertaken to assess the nature, extent, magnitude and significance of these effects.
