32. FOREIGN CURRENCY RISK<br />
The <strong>Bank</strong> takes on exposure to effects of fluctuations in the prevailing foreign currency exchange rates on its financial<br />
position and cash flows.<br />
The table below provides an analysis of the <strong>Bank</strong>’s main currency exposures. The remaining currencies are shown<br />
within ‘Other currencies.’ The <strong>Bank</strong> monitors its foreign exchange (FX) position for compliance with the regulatory<br />
requirements of the Federal <strong>Bank</strong>ing Agency established in respect of limits on open positions. The <strong>Bank</strong> seeks to<br />
match assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies to avoid foreign currency exposures.<br />
