Dear Mr. White:
I have checked the Shelby County, Ky. Deed records for 1801-1808. I only found one
deed for Josiah and Percis Boone. It was between the Boone's and Isham Talbott in
1802. It does not show their signatures or marks; it looks like it was signed by the
person who wrote the deed. I will be glad to send you a photocopy of the deed if you
will send me your street address; and $15 for research, copies, and postage.
I also checked the Shelby County Wills but did not find any records for Josiah or Percis.
A Shelby County marriage abstract book shows a Pearcis Boone, daughter of Isaiah
Boone, who married Abner Stark in 1811; but no marriage for Josiah and Percis.
If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.
Happy Holidays,
