• Information: 1666, Long Bennington, , Lincolnshire, England. Eleanor was the daughter
of Thomas Wright and his wife, Mary Whitlock, both of Long Bennington. We could
not prove her parents marriage; however, they were an immigrant family. Her father
made multiple trips to Virginia before bringing his family to America in 1669. Thomas
also held property in Maryland where he was living when his wife Mary and their only
daughter, Eleanor, immigrated Her father died intestate Rappahannock County Virginia
before 1680, and we could not prove the man her mother remarried. Eleanor had a
much younger brother James born about the time her father died who married an
Eleanor - all of their children were born and christened in Farnham Parish of Richmond
County. So far as we could prove Eleanor's parents did not have a daughter named
Mary.

decd: being very weak of body but of perfect & sound memory Praises be God for the
same do make this my Last Will & Testament.
First of all I recommend my Soul to God & my Body to the dust and my Estate I
dispose of as follows:
That is to say, I give and Bequeath all my Estate, after-Debts and funeral Charges
defrayed, to be Equally divided between my Son Thomas Bryan and my Daughter Mary
Bryan and I do hereby Constitute &c my said Daughter Mary Sole Executrix of this my
Last Will &c Revoking &c all other &c Confirming &c this to be my Last Will
