Elizabeth married John Berryman, son of Capt. Willam Berryman and Eleanor
Hold, in 1682 in Norfolk County, Virginia. John was born in 1634 in Brugge, , Brabant,
Belgium and died in 1711 in Surry County, Virginia at age 77.

19, 1671 at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Exeter Devonshire. John had at least two

Virginia. John married 2nd, Elizabeth Bryan, daughter of William Bryan and his wife,
Catherine Thacher.

family to live to near 100 years or beyond. James went to Belgium for his education
after cutting his teeth as a planter in 1660. Upon competition he visited London and met
his wife, then returned to Virginia
