and bounded as follows: beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g at a hickory and chestnut near <strong>the</strong> meet<strong>in</strong>g house<br />

and runn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>nce North West __? poles to a chestnut oak on <strong>the</strong> bank <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> river<br />

firth near a large rock <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> bank <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> river, <strong>the</strong>nce with <strong>the</strong> meanders <strong>of</strong> said river to<br />

a Sycamore__? poles <strong>the</strong>nce South West __? poles to <strong>the</strong> beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g. Conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g one<br />

<strong>William</strong> married Letty Asher. Letty was born <strong>in</strong> 1762 <strong>in</strong> Culpeper County, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia and died<br />

<strong>in</strong> 1819 <strong>in</strong> Culpeper County, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia at age 57.<br />

Noted events <strong>in</strong> her life were:<br />

• Information: Letty (Elizabeth) Asher was <strong>the</strong> daughter <strong>of</strong> James Asher <strong>of</strong> Culpeper<br />

County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia <strong>who</strong> died <strong>in</strong>testate 1800 - His wife is unknown, but believed to have<br />

been a Smith. James Asher was <strong>the</strong> youngest and last born child by John Asher and his<br />

wife, Elizabeth Morris - This John Asher died before 1750 <strong>in</strong> Orange County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia.<br />
