Josiah Boone II married third, Eleanor Bryan, widow of Ephraim Adams on December
15, 1810 in Jefferson County Kentucky. Eleanor was the lastborn child and daughter of
Joseph Bryan and his second wife, Alice Linville. She was named in her father's will,
and Joseph proved his granddaughter Alyee Adams, and grandsons Noah, Jacob and
Wilah (Joel) Adams, which is the order of their birth. By Eleanor Josiah Boone II had

Quaker lady as Josiah was in good standing with the Exeter Meeting when he asked for
a letter of Removal to the Bradford Meeting (established 1737 in Chester County
Pennsylvania) June 24, 1762.

5. March 15, 1777 Josiah Boone Sr. sold property in Augusta County Virginia and was
living in Shenandoah County Virginia when it formed February 1, 1778
6. Son Josiah married Hannah Hite 17 Dec 1781 in Frederrick County Virginia
7. Josiah Boone Sr. migrated to Kentucky in late 1786
8. Hannah Hite died 1787 Shenandoah County Virginia
9. Josiah Boone Jr. married Persis Hinton 1787 Shenandoah County Virginia and
migrated to Kentucky shortly thereafter.

• Information: 1753, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. There is obvious conflation of the
children of Josiah and his three wives, primarily because of the poor, non-existing, and
now validated Confabulated documentation initiated by Hinton family researchers.
Such things as purported marriage records that never existed, and the trend of that
family to ... pretend ... to be descendants of a lady that never existed.
Descendants of Josiah and his father prove both men in places they were not at
various dates during their lifetimes, which proves troublesome for everyone. We found
little evidence of actual physical locations reliably validated by researchers of these
families excepting the proofs that we included in the records for this family.
Lastly, Josiah Boone did not remove to Kentucky with his father where we proved
them both living in Madison County Kentucky April 17, 1789 with a hard record that
no researcher will overturn. We find no evidence that prior researchers have taken
