Josiah Boone II married third, Eleanor <strong>Bryan</strong>, widow <strong>of</strong> Ephraim Adams on December<br />

15, 1810 <strong>in</strong> Jefferson County Kentucky. Eleanor was <strong>the</strong> lastborn child and daughter <strong>of</strong><br />

Joseph <strong>Bryan</strong> and his second wife, Alice L<strong>in</strong>ville. She was named <strong>in</strong> her fa<strong>the</strong>r's will,<br />

and Joseph proved his granddaughter Alyee Adams, and grandsons Noah, Jacob and<br />

Wilah (Joel) Adams, which is <strong>the</strong> order <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir birth. By Eleanor Josiah Boone II had<br />

<strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g children:<br />

3. Josiah Boone Sr. married 2nd Shawki Chirasha 1761 <strong>in</strong> Pennsylvania (obviously a<br />

Quaker lady as Josiah was <strong>in</strong> good stand<strong>in</strong>g with <strong>the</strong> Exeter Meet<strong>in</strong>g when he asked for<br />

a letter <strong>of</strong> Removal to <strong>the</strong> Bradford Meet<strong>in</strong>g (established 1737 <strong>in</strong> Chester County<br />

Pennsylvania) June 24, 1762.<br />

4. August 17, 1768 Josiah Boone Sr. liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Augusta County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia<br />

5. March 15, 1777 Josiah Boone Sr. sold property <strong>in</strong> Augusta County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia and was<br />

liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Shenandoah County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia when it formed February 1, 1778<br />

6. Son Josiah married Hannah Hite 17 Dec 1781 <strong>in</strong> Frederrick County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia<br />

7. Josiah Boone Sr. migrated to Kentucky <strong>in</strong> late 1786<br />

8. Hannah Hite died 1787 Shenandoah County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia<br />

9. Josiah Boone Jr. married Persis H<strong>in</strong>ton 1787 Shenandoah County Virg<strong>in</strong>ia and<br />

migrated to Kentucky shortly <strong>the</strong>reafter.<br />

• Information: 1753, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. There is obvious conflation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

children <strong>of</strong> Josiah and his three wives, primarily because <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> poor, non-exist<strong>in</strong>g, and<br />

now validated Confabulated documentation <strong>in</strong>itiated by H<strong>in</strong>ton family researchers.<br />

Such th<strong>in</strong>gs as purported marriage records that never existed, and <strong>the</strong> trend <strong>of</strong> that<br />

family to ... pretend ... to be descendants <strong>of</strong> a lady that never existed.<br />

Descendants <strong>of</strong> Josiah and his fa<strong>the</strong>r prove both men <strong>in</strong> places <strong>the</strong>y were not at<br />

various dates dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>ir lifetimes, which proves troublesome for everyone. We found<br />

little evidence <strong>of</strong> actual physical locations reliably validated by researchers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se<br />

families except<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> pro<strong>of</strong>s that we <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> records for this family.<br />

Lastly, Josiah Boone did not remove to Kentucky with his fa<strong>the</strong>r where we proved<br />

<strong>the</strong>m both liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Madison County Kentucky April 17, 1789 with a hard record that<br />

no researcher will overturn. We f<strong>in</strong>d no evidence that prior researchers have taken<br />
