A fine boxed Japanese miniature Samurai armor
(yoroi) in 16th century style in red and gold c.
100 cm. tall with a solid golden plate or full
breastplate decorated with a dragon and golden
plated laced in place with red string. The kabuto
and Suneate is in black lacquered iron and the
Menpo is in iron. The box in black lacquer is fine
and the armor is of good quality.

A good quality Japanese Samurai doll sitting in
full armor c. 45 cm. tall with good details to the
face and helmet. The armor has a plate breastplate
with golden scale held together with red
lace. The Sammurai holds a very long katana in
wood.

A late meji Japanese boys day doll of a samurai
bushi in black armor and a Tanto mounted cast
blade by his side. The doll is sitting c. 32 cm. tall
with a well executed face and simple armor in
cardboard.

A fine full Japanese 17th century? Suit of samurai
armour with a good 32-plate ribbed black
finely lacquered helmet with a four lame shikoro
in ribbed iron held by faded white lace and a
large red lacquered horn. The mempo is solid
and only covers the lower part of the face. The
Do consist of seven horizontal strips of faded
black lacquered iron riveted together as well as
two upper lames held by lace. The shino-gote
Kote is fine and the suit comes in two wooden
boxes decorated with a Mon consisting of two
interwoven hexagonal figures in gilded brass. The
same faded lace holds all lames.
