A Japanese sword for a child signed Kin Michi
Kyoto and dated shin shinto 19th century. Fuchi
and kashira mino, 17th century.

A small Japanese Tanto with a solid unsigned
c. 23 cm. long blade with a small grip in black
lacquered wood. The blade is shobu-zukuri with
a clear hamon and a ihory back. The black scabbard
is decorated with flowers in relief and has a
small brass kogai.

A composite Japanese suit of samurai armor with
a good 16th century 30-plate ribbed helmet with
later shikoro in ribbed black lacquered iron held
by black lace. The Sode of 6 lames are small with
the lower lame in gold painted iron. The breastplate
with horizontal ribs has two lames strapped
to the top allowing for greater mobility and the
Kusazuri is rather small. The Kote combines chain
mail with square plates on the shoulder and long
lames by the forearm. Together with the suit is
a Haidate with golden lames on brocade. The
pressed Mempo is black with four lames held by
white and yellow lace. Most of the suit is laced
with rather fragile green lace. Together with the
suit is a brown carrying box.
