with a slender c. 46 cm. long blade with a faint
hamon line, a maru gata shaped 16th century?
Tsuba and a fine black lacquer scabbard decorated
with golden flowers and insects.

A well made 19th century Japanese full suit of
Samurai armor on a gusoku kake with a golden
OMODAKA mon on the breastplate. The Hachiken
suji-bachi kabuto has the same mon and is
rather heavy. The Menpo have the face of a man
with a small mustache in black iron and is red
lacquered on the inside with a hole allowing
sweat to drip out of the mask. The Sode are c.
34 cm. wide by 34 cm. The Do in solid plate is
made to look like bands of iron and so is the
backplate. The Kote combines chain mail with
plates and mon decorated wrist and forehand
areas. The lower part of the Haidate is covered
with plates carrying a star shaped family mon on
every other one.The Kozaneis are held together
by orange lace ending in red knots and is very
decorative. The armor on its stand is very impressive
and comes together with a black metal box.
