A pair of greek? flint lock pistol with c. 30. cm.<br />
long barrels and stocks cast in brass decorated all<br />
over with flowers, animals and military trophies.<br />
The locks are flat and slightly engraved with<br />
leaves and the butt caps have small masks. The<br />
feather springs have roller bearings to the toes<br />
indicating an early 19th date. The stocks are<br />
gilded and well preserved.<br />

A pair of properly French? Iron mounted full<br />
stocked flint lock pistols for the Mediterranean<br />
trade. The have fine carved butt caps, unsigned<br />
round locks and c. 31 cm. long barrels carved<br />
with flowers.<br />

A fine and unusual probably Persian 18th century<br />
Qama sword with a wide c. 6,2 cm. broad and<br />
c. 45 cm. long multi fullered blade with golden<br />
writings on one side and golden flowers on the<br />
other. The massive niello inlayed silver hilt is<br />
wrapped with twisted silver wire. The leather<br />
wrapped wooden scabbard has two large mounts,<br />
the upper in nielloed silver and the lower in silver<br />
inlayed iron.<br />
Bought in persia in 1930.<br />
