fourth sur\iving danghter—her three elder sisters, Janet,<br />

Margaret, and Eliz:d)eth, 1 lavniL'' a I predeceased. Of the mai<br />

riage <strong>of</strong> Pennel there was one son, AVilliam, wlio liecamc a<br />

Major in the Army. He succeeded to Ballindalloch on the<br />

death <strong>of</strong> his flither on 14th January 1751.<br />

8. Clementina, ^vho was born at Castle <strong>Grant</strong>, 12th A])ril 1721, and<br />

who mai-ried in 1737, Sir "William Dunbar <strong>of</strong> Durn, in the<br />

county <strong>of</strong> Banfl". She was then the fifth surviving daughter.<br />

Of this marriage there was issue one surviving son, who became<br />

Sir James Dunbar, Baronet, and died unmarried in 1811.<br />
