<strong>SCHOLARSHIP</strong><br />

Your Scholarship in Europe 2008-2009<br />

Slovenia<br />

The scholarship covers:<br />

• Accommodation in a student hall of residence of a university if the student requires it (paid<br />

for by the Ministry directly);<br />

• Basic medical insurance for non-EU students if there is no bilateral agreement on health<br />

insurance between Slovenia and the applicant’s home country (paid for directly by the<br />

Ministry);<br />

• €221 per month (€201 per month for undergraduates).<br />

SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION<br />

Complete application forms in three copies with accompanying enclosures (and priority list<br />

where applicable) should be endorsed by an authorized body or ministry (Russian Ministry of<br />

Education and Science) for the exchange of government scholarships in the applicant’s country<br />

of origin. These documents must be sent to the address of CMEPIUS (http://www.cmepius.si).<br />

AD FUTURA<br />

Ad futura – Scientifi c and Educational Foundation of the Republic of Slovenia was established<br />

by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia with the aim of providing opportunities for international<br />

mobility of students and researchers. Ad futura manages scholarships and study loans<br />

for tuition, living expenses or other costs. Specifi c rules are given in each call for applications.<br />

Ad futura works with three main categories:<br />

• Slovene students for graduate and post-graduate studies abroad and foreign students for<br />

postgraduate studies at Slovene higher educational institutions.<br />

• Slovene researchers for research abroad, foreign researchers for cooperation with Slovene<br />

research groups and Slovene researchers abroad for research or academic participation<br />

in Slovenia.<br />

• Foreign secondary level students for the International Baccalaureate in Slovenia.<br />

Calls for applications are now welcome (each call for an application is given its own number).<br />

Grants for research and teaching cooperation in Slovenia can be awarded for research or<br />

teaching positions in Slovene institutions to:<br />

• Foreign citizens;<br />

• Slovene citizens who are researching or teaching abroad.<br />

“28. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS”<br />

The subject of this call for applications are grants for partial funding of living expenses of visiting<br />

foreign scientists during a 3 to 12 month scientifi c cooperation or during a 2 to 12 month<br />

pedagogical cooperation in the Republic of Slovenia.<br />
