Slovenia<br />

IEDC-Bled School of Management, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2006, is one<br />

of the leading management development institutions in Europe. It is an international centre<br />

of excellence in management development, an important business meeting point and a<br />

stimulating environment for creative learning and thinking. Participants from all over the<br />

world attend the IEDC programmes taught by world-class lecturers from the best business<br />

schools of Europe and North America.<br />

IEDC – Bled School of Management offers MBA <strong>SCHOLARSHIP</strong>S to outstanding candidates<br />

in one-year Executive MBA and two-year Executive MBA programmes.<br />

Scholarships are available for:<br />

• CEE citizens (Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria);<br />

• Citizens of Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia);<br />

• Citizens of Former Soviet Republics (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Georgia);<br />

• Citizens of Former Republics of Yugoslavia (BIH, Serbia and Montenegro/Kosovo,<br />

Macedonia).<br />

The scholarships cover (only) the tuition fees for the 1-year EMBA and 2-year EMBA<br />

programmes. The scholarships will be granted in the range from 20% of the tuition fees<br />

(equivalent to €4,600 in the 1-year EMBA programme and €5,700 in the 2-year EMBA programme)<br />

up to 50% of tuition fees (equivalent to €11,500 in the 1-year EMBA programme<br />

and €14,250 in the 2-year EMBA programme), depending on the qualifi cations of the candidate<br />

and the number of candidates per country/region. The extent of the scholarship is<br />

deducted from overall tuition fees.<br />

The scholarship candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and a<br />

background with signifi cant professional, academic and/or personal achievements. Since<br />

the working language in EMBA is English, we expect fl uency in English. IEDC will grant the<br />

scholarships to the best candidates on the basis of educational qualifi cations, professional<br />

skills and motivation shown during the entrance interview.<br />

Candidates applying for the scholarship should complete the application form (available on<br />

the IEDC website http://www.iedc.si/programs/mba/emba/admission/) and send, together<br />

with other application documents, a written request for a scholarship explaining their reasons<br />

for applying.<br />
