The 1st Berlin GDR Motorcycle Museum, housed<br />
un<strong>der</strong> the train arches at Alexan<strong>der</strong>platz, displays<br />
the history of motorcycle production in the former<br />
GDR, including many rare models.<br />

The largest public exhibition of GDR two-wheelers<br />
in the world includes more than 140 motorcycles,<br />
motor scooters and mopeds from the manufacturers<br />
MZ, Simson and IWL, shown over two floors<br />
and 800m 2 . On display are almost all models from<br />
40 years of GDR two-wheeler production, as well<br />
as many trailers, sports and racing motorcycles,<br />
special-purpose and government vehicles.<br />
