The exhibitions display a range of ceramics from
German-speaking areas, spanning from the mid-
19th century to the Modern period. The collection
of over 7000 pieces was primarily acquired by donation.

Activity
Houses in Berlin – Changing Over Time
On Berlin’s streets there are both old and new houses
and time again a new building site. In the painting
and building workshop visitors can reconstruct their
favourite street corners or houses out of cardboard,
wood and other recycled materials. Whoever prefers
can also make coloured pictures or collages. If the
weather is fine there will be a small street exhibition.
