structure this permanent exhibition on the history<br />

of the Berlin Wall.<br />

NATO From Its Foundation to the Present Day<br />

The exhibition presents 120 plaques, with over<br />

100 media stations and numerous original items,<br />

illuminating the historical and political developments<br />

in the post-war period and the background<br />

to these developments.<br />

Raoul Wallenberg Lives<br />

The exhibition honours the Swedish diplomat who<br />

rescued ten thousand Hungarian Jews from deportation,<br />

but was suspected as a spy after the war<br />

and retained in a Soviet Secret Police prison.<br />

Designed by Ludwig Mies van <strong>der</strong> Rohe in 1932,<br />

the Classical Mo<strong>der</strong>nist country house is now<br />

used as an exhibition space for mo<strong>der</strong>n art.<br />

»… and keine <strong>Nacht</strong>« deals with the Landhaus<br />

Lemke, today the Mies van <strong>der</strong> Rohe Haus. In the<br />

short film the house becomes the resonating body<br />

of a woman.<br />
