Permanent exhibition From the City’s Foundations to the Dual Spires: 800 Years of the Berlin Nikolaikirche Seven theme areas illuminate the history of the church at the centre of medieval Berlin. Medieval night singing from European monasteries with the vocal ensemble Vox Nostra Drinks Special entry to the Pergamonmuseum with a Long Night Ticket Pergamon: Panorama of the Classical Metropolis On display until the 30th September, the Pergamonmuseum has produced the first comprehensive exhibition on the classical city of Pergamon, completed by a monumental 360° panorama by the Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi. The all-round view of the historic city and the castle hill with its spectacular buildings, from a 15 metre tall visitor platform, places the visitor in the year 129 AD and gives an engrossing image of how the sculptures and the architec- © asisi, Photograph: Tom Schulze ture shown in the exhibition would have been erected. Due to limited spatial capacity in the temporary exhibition and the Asisi panorama the Pergamonmuseum is not taking part in the Long Night of the Museums. All Long Night visitors have the special deal of two tickets for the price of one, 1st August to 30th September 2012, Thursdays from 4 pm to 9 pm.
