Deutscher Dom on Gendarmenmarkt<br />
It was on the steps of the historic building on Gendarmenmarkt<br />
that the victims of the 1848 March<br />
Revolution were famously laid out; today the »German<br />
Dome« houses an exhibition by the German<br />
Parliament on parliamentary history.<br />
Permanent exhibition<br />
Paths – Wrong Turns – Detours: The Development<br />
of Parliamentary Democracy in Germany<br />
The exhibition across several floors portrays the<br />
historical development of Parliamentarism and of<br />
political parties in the 19th and 20th centruries.<br />
There are also models of German parliamentary<br />
architecture and a section on the building and<br />
redevelopment of the Deutscher Dom.<br />
