Deutscher Dom on Gendarmenmarkt
It was on the steps of the historic building on Gendarmenmarkt
that the victims of the 1848 March
Revolution were famously laid out; today the »German
Dome« houses an exhibition by the German
Parliament on parliamentary history.

Paths – Wrong Turns – Detours: The Development
of Parliamentary Democracy in Germany
The exhibition across several floors portrays the
historical development of Parliamentarism and of
political parties in the 19th and 20th centruries.
There are also models of German parliamentary
architecture and a section on the building and
redevelopment of the Deutscher Dom.
