difference in marks, however, is so very small that he
will have to ride a clear round if he is to be the winner.
But Lütke-Westhues also incurs 20 minus marks, and
so Weldon is placed in the same situation. A clear round
would give Weldon a Gold Medal, and 10 minus marks
for one knocking-over would give him the Silver Medal.
However, Weldon gets 20 minus marks. And so the final
placing of the three leading riders remains unchanged.
