PrO (1) Advanced protections menu (continued)
OSd • Over voltage threshold R/W* 110..125% of Uln 120%
Trips the soft starter when mains voltage increases above the set level for a time longer than over voltage time
delay (OSt).
Line voltage (V)
(1)Only available when Advanced mode LAC page 50 is set to On.
*: Write only when the soft starter is stopped
Time
(s)
Note: Trip message is OSF. The trip appears only after a Run command.
OSt • Over voltage time delay R/W 1..10 2 s
Trips the soft starter when mains voltage increases above the set level for a time longer than overvolt delay.
Note: Trip message is OSF.
PtC • PTC probes motor monitoring R/W oFF
oFF
On
The PTC probes on the motor must be connected to the correct analog input (see page 25).
This protection is independent of the Motor thermal protection tHP.
Both types of protection can be used simultaneously.
- off (No PTC probes are not activated)
- on (PTC probes activated. Wire the probes)
Note: Trip message is OtF.
ItH • Overload protection R/W* On
oFF
ErUn
On
ItH determines if and when the overload protection is active
- off: the overload protection is disabled
- Erun: the overload protection is enable only during the steady state (rUn)
- On: the overload protection is always enable.
Note: Trip message is OLF.ItH set to oFF resets the thermal state of the motor when the soft starter is stopped.
CAUTION
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE SOFT STARTER AND THE MOTOR
• When ItH = oFF, it is recommended to use PtC probes to protect the motor against overheating.
• When ItH = ErUn, it is recommended to set tLS to the maximum start time of the installation, to protect the
installation in case of motor stalling.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
