This protection is independent of the Motor thermal protection tHP.
Both types of protection can be used simultaneously.
- off (No PTC probes are not activated)
- on (PTC probes activated. Wire the probes)

ItH determines if and when the overload protection is active
- off: the overload protection is disabled
- Erun: the overload protection is enable only during the steady state (rUn)
- On: the overload protection is always enable.
Note: Trip message is OLF.ItH set to oFF resets the thermal state of the motor when the soft starter is stopped.
CAUTION
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE SOFT STARTER AND THE MOTOR
• When ItH = oFF, it is recommended to use PtC probes to protect the motor against overheating.
• When ItH = ErUn, it is recommended to set tLS to the maximum start time of the installation, to protect the
installation in case of motor stalling.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
