Is the coupling difficult to maintain and lubricate? If so, the MAX-C ® resilient may be the solution!<br />

Rigid Hub Sleeve Resilient Blocks Hub End Ring<br />

The resilient coupling is a non-lubricated flexible<br />

coupling designed to transmit torque via rubber or<br />

urethane element under compression, with dampening<br />

or cushion. Easy to assemble, operates in rough and<br />

gritty environments, and is a reliable design – if the<br />

blocks wear out the coupling will continue to transmit<br />

torque with metal to metal contact temporarily until the<br />

blocks can be replaced.<br />

The Max-C ® resilient coupling is available in three<br />

styles – K2, WB and CB. Fourth style - UB (urethane<br />

cylindrical block design) has been superseded by the<br />

K2, but is still available for sale.<br />

K2: Urethane wedge shaped blocks. Used on electric<br />

motor driving cranes, pumps, feed rolls, fans, conveyors,<br />

bow thruster, manipulators, etc. It competes well with<br />

RENOLD* Type 90 and 87 lines along with RENOLD<br />

HI TEC*.<br />

K2 has greater service life, larger torque and bore<br />

capacity, and better project or OEM price compared to<br />

RENOLD* or RENOLD HI TECH*. K2 is selected out<br />

of the catalog, sold off-the-shelf with rework or finish<br />

bored to order.<br />
