Master of Occupational Therapy Curriculum
Student Plan of Study
Each student must meet with their advisor to develop a Plan of Study during the first
semester that they are enrolled in the program. It is the student’s responsibility to
initiate this planning meeting. The Plan of Study will detail the degree requirements and
the course sequence for the Occupational Therapy Program. (See policy OT 202)
The Plan of Study must be reviewed and updated whenever a student:
1. Applies for acceptance of transfer credit earned from another institution after
enrollment at Governors State University;
2. Wishes to substitute course work specified on the plan;
3. Changes his/her major; or
4. Is readmitted.
Students choosing to take a course not specified in their study plan may find that such
credit may not apply toward the degree requirements.
