Disconnecting Device<br />
To disconnect an online connection from the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> device to a<br />
<strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> take the following steps:<br />
1. In the <strong>DTM</strong> interface dialog select the OK button, to close the <strong>DTM</strong><br />
interface dialog.<br />
2. Right-click on the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> device icon.<br />
3. Select the Disconnect command from the context menu.<br />
Now the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> device is disconnected from the <strong>DTM</strong>.<br />
7.2 Download Configuration<br />
To transfer the configuration with the corresponding parameter data to the<br />
<strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> device you download the data to the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong><br />
device using the frame application of the configuration software.<br />
Note: Whether the device supports the Download function depends on<br />
the manufacturer. For more information refer to the device manual from<br />
the manufacturer.<br />
For <strong>net</strong>Device the download is made via Device > Download or use the<br />
context menu with Download.<br />

Note: To download configuration parameter data to the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong><br />
device an online connection from the <strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> <strong>DTM</strong> to the<br />
<strong>PROFIBUS</strong> <strong>MPI</strong> device is required. Further information can be found in<br />
the Connecting/Disconnecting Device section on page 77.<br />
